DWAR Foundation respects the privacy of volunteers, guests, donors, partners, and website visitors. This page explains what information is collected, why it is collected, and how it should be handled inside the DWAR website and volunteer management system.

DWAR may collect name, email, phone number, city, education or occupation details, skills, interests, emergency contact details, volunteer registration responses, event registrations, attendance records, certificate records, donor inquiries, and messages sent through contact forms.
The information is used to verify volunteers, approve registrations, assign people to events, communicate event updates, maintain attendance, generate certificates, respond to inquiries, coordinate event teams, and prepare internal programme reports.
When a user signs in with Google, DWAR receives basic account information such as name, email address, and profile identity from Google. A volunteer may still need admin verification before receiving access to protected portal features.
Issued certificates may include the volunteer name, event name, event date, issue date, and certificate number. Public verification pages should only show information needed to confirm authenticity and should not expose private contact or profile details.
Volunteer and event information is stored in the configured production database and storage systems. Access should be limited to authorised admins, coordinators, and trainers, protected by role-based permissions, audit trails, and secure authentication practices.
Users can contact DWAR to request correction, review, or deletion of their personal information. Some records may need to be retained for certificates, audit, compliance, reporting, or legitimate programme administration.
